Summary

Nicky's long career in Whitehall has taken in a variety of secretariat jobs with all three armed services. She has, on several occasions, managed teams tasked with reviewing the structure and functions of various parts of the MOD and their associated service organisations.

More recently Nicky has been responsible for the management of significant bids for major infrastructure works in the Rail sector.

Key Experience

As a Senior Associate of the ICW Nicky has helped the MOD to develop their Partnering strategy, assisted organisations (mainly in the Defence field) to draft the collaborative aspects of their bids, and acted as facilitator at BS 11000 implementation workshops. She has also presented at various conferences and run supporting workshops and master-classes on collaboration. Since 2011 Nicky has also edited the ICW's annual journal 'The Partner'. Nicky's previous posts include the Head of Unit - MOD, Market Testing Director - DGTest and Evaluation, and Project Manager - Serco.
