ICW Collaborative Working Reception 2023

On a lovely warm, sunny day in London, Lord Evans welcomed invitees to the 2023 Annual ICW Collaborative Working Reception, sponsored by Leidos, at the House of Lords today.

Three new members were welcomed to ICW's Executive Network: Copello - a specialist STEM talent provider in defence, engineering & technology; Globant - an IT and software development company operating in many countries around the world, and Viasat - an American communications company providing high-speed satellite broadband services and secure networking systems covering military and commercial markets.

Frank Lee spoke about ICW'S exciting initiatives and plans before handing over to Leidos' Chief Executive & SVP, Simon Fovargue MBE. New Fellows Paul Greenwood, Brian Walton and Mike Rogers were handed their certificates and badges by ICW's Alan Maund and Leidos' Lois Love respectively.

Lord Evans took to the podium again, announcing the launch of the 2023 edition of 'The Partner' - ICW's flagship annual publication - and the ICW 2023 Collaborative Awards were officially opened. Pietro Foschi, Group Executive Director Assurance Services Division at BSI, was completely surprised when Lord Evans called him up to receive ICW's Collaborative Leadership Award for 2023. This is usually given at the end of the year, but as David pointed out, it makes more sense to award it while the year is still happening!

There were plenty of opportunities for socialising and networking, along with an array of tasty canapés and plentiful beverages.
