    We are pleased to announce that John Sisk & Son Ltd has joined the ICW Executive Network.

    Sisk is an innovative member of the construction sector, supporting a range of customers across civil and construction, creating places for future generations.

    We are pleased to announce that Yokogawa UK Ltd, our Executive Network Member, has joined the ICW's 'Collaboration in the Nuclear Sector' Forum, set up in partnership with Sellafield Ltd.

    Yokogawa's Strategy and Sustainability Manager, Robert Purchase, and their Business Development Manager for Nuclear, Mark Halliwell, will lead the engagement.

    Robert commented, "Yokogawa UK is a leading provider of industrial automation, safety, and control technology solutions and services. We have over 40 years of experience in the UK civil nuclear industry, providing integrated safety monitoring, control, and recording systems. Many of our systems and instrumentation have been assessed by the Nuclear Licensed Sites using ONR guidelines and accepted as suitable for safety application by the Office of Nuclear Regulation for use on these sites.

    ICW and Copello's joint event achieved a very good turnout at Copello's offices in Whiteley, Hampshire, yesterday.

    Speakers Andrew MacAskill, CCO of Fraser Dove International, and Henry Pavey MBA, CTArcf, FICW, Growth Boroughs Programme & Partnership Manager led the debate on whether collaborative working can encourage people back into the office.

    Presentations were followed by a cheese and wine networking session.

    We would like to thank Copello for hosting the successful and very practical event.

    Stuart Driscoll, Managing Director of EJ Parker Technical Services, part of Edwin James Group, will lead the engagement.

    FACE OFF logoWe are pleased to announce a new partnership between the Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW) and FACE OFF. This partnership aims to encourage greater adoption and use of collaborative behavioural assessment, development and coaching for individuals, to support more effective structured collaboration.

    As part of this arrangement, ICW members will receive special discounts on FACE OFF's online Collaborative Disposition Index (CDI) products and associated workshops. These resources place a strong emphasis on behaviour and people-to-people collaboration to complement a structured collaborative approach for organisations, networks and ecosystems.

    Associated Asphalt logoWe at the ICW are pleased to announce that Associated Asphalt, an innovative contractor providing services to the Highways and Airport sectors, has joined our Executive Network.     Eirini EtoimouWe are pleased to announce our first collaborative forum 'Collaboration in the Nuclear Sector', which has been set up together with our Executive Network member Sellafield Limited.

    The forum will be chaired by Eirini Etoimou, Msc, MBA LS, Head of Corporate Sustainability & Supply Chain Development at Sellafield and will be open to all ICW Executive Member organisations.

    The aim of the forum is to identify the key areas where improved collaboration can deliver additional value regardless of the specific nuclear activity or area and to work collaboratively to realise that value. The insights gained will be integrated into our overarching Infrastructure Collaboration Forum to ensure that best collaborative practices are shared among our members, regardless of their sector.

    Stephen Abrahams, CEO at Stirling-Holbeck, will be acting as secretary to the forum. Stephen Scott, Project Delivery Directorate at Sellafield, will be supporting the chair.

    We are pleased to announce that Andrea Madgwick joined the ICW core team this week in the role of Events Coordinator. Andrea has a wealth of experience as an organiser and personal assistant and will be a fantastic addition to the Institute’s team. With her help we plan to expand and improve our portfolio both for in person and online events. We would like to thank our specialist talent recruitment members Copello, for their invaluable help in Andrea’s recruitment.
