The Institute for Collaborative Working, in partnership with BSI, are running a series of webinars for you to understand the benefits that some of their members have achieved by working in a more collaborative manner, in line with ISO 44001 Collaborative Working Relationships Standard.
Network Rail and their supply partners have been leaders in collaboration for the last decade working together to improve rail performance to the passenger, taxpayer and other key stakeholders.
This webinar will take you through the highlights of this journey and bring you up to date with current collaborative initiatives including the rail sector deal and how the ‘acting as one team’ industry approach is improving the railway and beyond.
Kevin Tozer Kevin has held leadership positions in blue-chip organisations within manufacturing, technology, FMCG, and infrastructure sectors These have included influential appointments within commercial, procurement & supply chain management, transformation, and business re-engineering. For the last 12 years he has worked at Network Rail where roles have included Head of Procurement for a number of major projects leading the development and implementation of innovative commercial, procurement and supply chain strategies, and four years as the Head of Collaborative Working. Whilst in the latter role, he's been a key player in the organisation continuing to improve performance and reputation through collaboration, steered it to achieve ISO 44001, and brought a focus on enterprise models through the industry wide Project 13 initiative.
Phil Bennett Phil Bennett is the Commercial Director for the Digital Railway programme within Network Rail. Phil has been with Network Rail and its predecessors for 20 years and during this time has held a variety of senior commercial and programme management roles. He has been in his current role since December 2014 and has responsibility for establishing the commercial, procurement and supply chain engagement strategies and for leading the cost modelling for the cross industry Digital Railway programme. Phil has 30 years experience in the UK construction industry in a variety of business and market sectors and has a technical background as a qualified quantity surveyor.
Stephen Blakey Stephen is the Commercial Projects Director for Network Rail with accountabilities to strengthening commercial stewardship, benchmarking and supply chain collaboration across the capital works portfolio. His role also brings a strategic emphasis to cross industry collaboration, with responsibility to lead commercial innovation and market engagement through various forums with industry stakeholders, clients, suppliers and professional bodies. Known for his thought leadership & zeal in the pursuit of progressive commercial models, in 2015 he received the Collaborative Leadership Award from the Institute for Collaborative Working.
