ICW Members Drop-in Q&A Session
Thursday 18 July 2024, 4:00-4:45pm

Value Creation

What is a value creation and analysis process? What is the definition of value creation with respect to collaboration? How do I prove value has been created to my senior managers?

The Institute runs regular question and answer sessions, to offer general advice and facilitate sharing of experiences and solutions on structured collaboration including ISO 44001.

Each session, which will last about three-quarters of an hour, will be facilitated by a small team of experts who have either advised on, helped develop or implement structured collaboration.

The sessions will be structured around 'Frequently Asked Questions' (FAQs) received from our members on ISO 44001, as well as an open session for current member topics.

Initially the sessions will be held on the third Thursday of every month, and are for individual members only.

Format

Each drop-in session will have a theme that we will advertise through Insight and on our website.
(Due to the potentially sensitive nature of the issues discussed, participants are free to use the information received, but must not disclose the identity or affiliation of any of the session's other attendees)
.

Part 1: Frequently Asked Question

The Structured Collaboration SIG has collated and prioritised a number of FAQs received from members. In this part we will provide general feedback on how a practitioner might address the question and then conduct a discussion with attendees for further views and inputs. This part of the Exchange Session will be allocated about 25 minutes.
(Although our experts are extremely competent, they cannot provide a definitive opinion on all topics as other considerations are likely to apply, such as the organisational and commercial context of the topic)
.

Part 2: Open Questions

This part will provide an opportunity for attendees to propose a question or issue for discussion on the day. One of our experts will ‘chair’ this to generate interchange from members and our experts to share good practice, potential solutions, or create topics for future information exchange sessions.

Who are these sessions for?

The sessions are suitable for anyone, in any organisation, involved in developing or implementing a structured approach to collaboration and learning more about both the principles of ISO 44000 and/or the requirements of ISO 44001 and how they can support better collaboration and a more effective approach.
